The City of Flushing City Council will hold a Public Needs Hearing on the use of its 2025-2027 Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funds on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall, 725 E. Main Street, Flushing, Michigan 48433.

The purpose of the hearing is to offer an opportunity for citizens to express their ideas on community needs and project proposals concerning the use of Federal CDBG funds for the 2025-2027 Program year. The hearing will also provide an opportunity for citizens to comment on past CDBG projects.

Comments, both oral and written, will be accepted from any person interested at the aforesaid time and place. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services, who plan to attend any meetings and/or hearings, or will require any city services, are asked to please contact the City Clerk in writing, or by calling (810) 659-5665 in advance of the anticipated need, to inform her of the type of disability you have and the type of assistance you will need.
